About Taiz

Kephart Taiz is a performance artist, mask maker, musician and inventor who designed The Resonance Lounger and Life Cast Systems™, an innovative technology for casting the human face. He has spent most of his life in the Sonoran desert where he frequented the nearby wilderness from an early age.

Much of his inspiration comes from his love of nature, movement, masked theater and music. His passion is for blending technology with art in service of humanity. He leads workshops in self-portraiture that facilitate inner reflection and creativity. Kephart also creates custom sculptural portraits.

TAIZ Support

Courtney Sheets has worked closely with Taiz design for the past three years in the areas of marketing, administration, investment and research. She also brings her creative talents in the development and execution of workshops, performance art and portraiture. She has a degree in Psychology and in Communications with an M.A. in Humanities that focuses on the role of the women within religion, art, mythology and culture. Her experience within the healing arts including sound therapy provides a valuable perspective to the diverse spectrum of the company’s products, services and mission.
