Cost of Attendance

Our Financial Aid Office establishes standard budgets as a basis for awarding financial aid funds. Your actual expenses may vary according to your lifestyle and level of enrollment. The table below can assist you in planning your own budget. All awards are based on full-time enrollment. If you are not enrolled in full-time degree-approved courses (DAC) at the time of payment, your disbursement will be adjusted to reflect your actual DAC enrollment status. Additionally, please keep in mind that the cost of attendance does not guarantee that you will receive sufficient federal or state aid to cover your entire budget.

Cohort Default Rates

For institutions who have 30 or more borrowers entering repayment in a fiscal year, the institution鈥檚 cohort default rate is the percentage of its borrowers who enter repayment on certain Federal Family Education Loans and/or William D. Ford Federal Direct Loans during that fiscal year and default within the cohort default period.

The phrase "cohort default period" refers to the three-year period that begins on October 1 of the fiscal year when the borrower enters repayment and ends on September 30 of the second fiscal year following the fiscal year in which the borrower entered repayment.

Item Fiscal Year
2019 2020 2021 2022
Default Rate 3.60% 0.00% 0.00% 0.00%
Number in Default 37 1 0 0
Number in Repayment 1,018 982 921 777
Enrollment Figures 10,347 9,557 N/A N/A
Percentage Calculation 9.84% 10.28% N/A N/A

To provide context for the cohort default rate data, we include enrollment data (students registering at any time during the year) and a corresponding percentage (borrowers entering repayment divided by that enrollment figure). While there is no direct relationship between the timing of when a borrower entered repayment (October 1 through September 30) and any particular enrollment year, for the purpose of these date, we have chosen to use the academic year ending on the June 30 prior to the beginning of the cohort year (e.g. the 2020 fiscal year will use 2018-2019 enrollment).

Please refer to the for a more in-depth description of cohort default rates and how the rates are calculated.
